social contacts and to express themselves freely. Social media platform offered an opportunity to further strengthen the bonds among the people in the world. The scale of economies led to the development of social media platforms. It has reach, and could be accessed anywhere. All one needed was a computer and an internet and in general social media platforms complimented the other medias. That is how the social media platforms on internet started. The networks are private online network where people can exchange views & opinions. It is interesting to note that as more & more one tries to make the information secure, we have some rouge elements who spend their time and energy to create systems. Some are using the social media platforms for increasing their information base, their knowledge while others try to use the media for spreading information to humanity.

Information technology and internet are good and powerful tools created to quench the thirst for knowledge and to make the work easier. It made communication faster and cheaper. It is the mind set of human beings which have distorted the use of this powerful medium. Social media development was an important aspect in bringing the people of the world together. Social Media platforms have brought in the people closer. It has added to the knowledge. It has created a bonding and it has connected people. Information technology has touched everyone. It has connected everyone. Social media platforms have shortened the distance. The world is now really a very small place. The distance has become shorter and people have now been able to connect easily with each other.
