Future Electronics Has Stock of Hittite SPDT Switches Reducing Signal Loss, Noise, Interference

Montreal, Quebec ( submitpressrelease ) May 17, 2013 – Future Electronics, a global leading distributor of electronic components, announces immediate availability of new Hittite SPDT Switches designed to reduce signal loss, minimize noise and interference and operate at high frequencies and power levels.

Hittite Microwave Corporation is a world class supplier of complete MMIC based

solutions for communication & military markets. Their GaAs pHEMT SPDT( http://www.futureelectronics.com/en/Search.aspx?dsNav=Ny:True,Ro:0,Nea:True,N:876-4294938393-4294909542&utm_source=Internal_Web_Tile_NA&utm_medium=Web_Tile&utm_content=HittiteSPDT_Search_Left_Wbe&utm_campaign=Hittite ) (Single Pole, Double Throw) MMIC Switch is ideal for automotive telematics, private mobile radio (PMR), cellular/3G, WiMAX/4G and test equipment applications from DC to 6 GHz.

The HMC849LP4CE( http://www.futureelectronics.com/en/technologies/semiconductors/wireless-rf/t-r-rf-switches/Pages/6013570-HMC849LP4CETR.aspx ) is a low loss, high linearity GaAs pHEMT SPDT MMIC switch for use in transmit and receive applications which require wide bandwidth and high isolation. This versatile switch is ideal for cellular/LTE/4G infrastructure applications offering up to 60 dB isolation and +52 dBm input IP3, with insertion loss as low as 0.8 dB. Power handling is excellent up through the 5 – 6 GHz WiMAX band with the switch offering a P1dB compression point of +32 dBm. In addition, the HMC849LP4CE features on-chip circuitry which accepts a single positive control voltage of 0/+3V or 0/+5V at very low DC currents. An enable input (EN) set to logic high will put the switch in an “all off” state with both outputs terminated into 50 Ohms. Conveniently housed in a RoHS compliant, 4×4 mm QFN SMT package, the HMC849LP4CE complements Hittite’s broad line of SPST and SPNT switch products with frequency coverage up to 86 GHz.

Hittite’s HMC536MS8G( http://www.futureelectronics.com/en/technologies/semiconductors/wireless-rf/t-r-rf-switches/Pages/6527428-HMC536MS8GETR.aspx ) is a Positive Control, DC to 6 GHz, GaAs MMIC T/R Switch in an 8 lead MSOP8G SMT package with an exposed ground paddle. This switch is ideal for WiMAX and Fixed Wireless applications, featuring low 0.5 dB insertion loss and high 26 dB isolation. Power handling is excellent up through 6 GHz with a P1dB compression point of +37 dBm, and +52 dBm input IP3. The HMC536MS8G offers 30 nS switching speeds and operates with either 0/+3V or 0/+5V control logic.

The HMC214MS8, also from Hittite, is a High IP3 GaAs MMIC Mixer in an 8 lead MSOP SMT package and covers 2.4 – 4.0 GHz. Excellent input IP3 performance of +34 dBm for down-conversion, and +31 dBm for up-conversion is provided for WiMAX and other 3.5 GHz Fixed Wireless applications. The HMC214MS8( https://www.hittite.com/products/view.html/view/HMC214MS8 ) offers wide IF bandwidth of DC to 1 GHz and high LO to IF and LO to RF isolations of 25 to 30 dB, while requiring no external matching components and no DC bias.
