IT Pathshala Conducted Placement Drive for Providing Job Opportunities to Candidates

As part of College Partnership Program, IT Pathshala recently conducted a Placement Drive for candidates at its training premise. In order to provide wider job opportunities to candidates, it invited reputed IT & Software companies for placement. As an associate partner of IT Pathshala, these companies use IT Pathshala’s Recruitment Solutions for hiring candidates for in different jobs. /p>


Candidates participated in placement drive, were from both Fast Track & Industrial Training Batch. As an outcome, in first phase of this Placement Drive, around 96% of candidates appeared in the drive were shortlisted by the companies for available jobs in .NET, Android, and PHP.


The Placement Drive started with an Introductory Meet between the companies’ hiring staff and IT Pathshala officials, followed by welcome note by IT Pathshala placement coordinator. During the discussion, the IT Pathshala representative communicated about the hiring process and benefits of getting training at the company instead of at other training providers. After the discussion, the hiring staff of companies invited, informed candidates about the company and the Job Requirement. Moving further, the recruiting staff of companies examined the IT Pathshala Training facilities and had an interaction with training staff and other concerned staff.


As a part of Hiring Process, following activities were executed during the Placement Drive.


The process started with Employability Test (Including Aptitude Test, Soft & Communication Skills Test, and Basic Technology & IT Awareness Test) to evaluate the basic employability skills of candidates. After successfully completion of first round, candidates were moved to Face-to-face Discussion with recruitment team to find the candidates’ interest and their readiness for the job. Moving further, shortlisted candidates were collected for Group Discussion to judge candidate’s basic conducts of communication. As a next round, shortlisted candidates were called for Face-to-Face Technical Round of Interview to test the technical skills as per the Job Requirement.


Based on the overall score achieved in all four rounds, candidates were shortlisted for different job profiles available with the companies.


Considering the overwhelming positive response from the companies, IT Pathshala is looking forward to conduct the next Placement Drive to provide better job opportunities for candidates.
